CLU Living’s flagship store is located on the prestigious retail strip of Church St in Richmond. Designed in collaboration with Creative Director Chris Lu, this design encapsulates the core values of the brand and its focus on compact living. The symmetry of the layout balances the design and facilitates an engaging experience. The classic yet contemporary material palette creates a neutral backdrop to showcase the furniture pieces. The off white walls and warm mid-tone flooring provides a reprieve from the harsh industrial inner city environment.

To create a more unified and curated atmosphere, the space is broken up into vignettes that flank both sides. The orange, which is a key colour for the brand, was selected for the awnings on the exterior to create a visual impact and to complement the white heritage exterior façade.
